Thought I'd post a cheeky little update on things around here, just to give a date for some things upcoming and when I'd be posting the full size images.

So first of all, had some issues with the Queensferry photos correctly showing in the galleries, should see that corrected later on today if all goes well. That was the big one to be fair, I also am adding in the photos that cleared copyright checks, so they'll be up and front I think.

Speaking of which, organising my portfolio is going great, just need to finalise the design of my choosing and it will be live! Working on some changes to the home page to reflect my eventual views for the website and how I want to present it. I won't lie in that templates have been a great help, but feels very bland in my opinion. So i've got that going in the background! But im aiming to hit a nice cozy wintry feel in the meantime so im touching up some old images from my phone camera a few years back to give that snowy look ( before we actually get snow this year)

Secondly, save the date, Sunday 7th September, the UK will get to see a total lunar eclipse that evening!

Well... mostly only partially. The moon rises at 19:49-19:50 and the totality (the total eclipse) ends at 19:52. Meaning there is a very short window to actually catch both the full red view of the moon and the what I can only guess as to, a very stunning moment when it leaves the earth's shadow. The partial eclipse does contiune for at least another hour while the moon rises into the sky.

If you want to catch the full total lunar eclipse, look just a little south of east on a compass. The moon rises at 100-101 degrees (where 90 is east). Find somewhere with a clear view to the east and you should hopefully see it!

I am heading out on that day as well, to see if I can catch some photos that I will share with you all once I can get them uploaded, but I will likely share them to my Instagram first, right at that time if I can. I want to share it with as many people as I can because things like this don't happen all the time.

Anyway it's fairly short on images around here while i've been busy, I have some upcoming stuff that isn't photographs either so I look forward to sharing those too!

But heres a little one from me while I was out and about. Took me a bit longer than usual to take this with my phone since the angles were defenitely there but I couldnt get rid of the lampposts.

I think this is the right place to share these photos considering I don't plan anything with them and they are a passing moment really. When things just line up, I really can't help myself. I am very glad I live in a time where I have a camera in my pocket, ready to go all the time!
