Finally, the website is live!

While the majority of the site is still hidden/under construction, I have at least launched the choice photo sections (minus Wildlife sorry!) with the main reason being that a lot of the photos I have ready to launch with are in the RAW/CR2 format which while good does come with a significant size increase. For example take this shot of a grassy field, nothing special right?

This file right here is a modified JPEG file that only takes up 1MB which is not a lot of space. The same file in the RAW/CR2 format is 27MB. The website hosting takes a maximum of 25MB so I have a small bit of work to do in either cropping or changing them to JPEG designs. Nothing which is out of reach really to be fair.

This is all a new thing for me so I am still learning as I go, which is turning up useful fruits and skills all the while.

I want to try to keep to a regular schedule with these because it would be nice, but that isn't me honestly so a rough once a fortnightly post is better for now, with a random timing for any blog posts that are written about trips and photography outtings.

As soon as I figure out more cool features with this stuff, it'll be going here so I can talk about it for as reasonably long as I can because a 500 word essay on website blocks and linking isn't fun for all the family.

Also perhaps in the future too, since it is possible, having others write slightly subject adjacent blogs might be a cool idea. I'll likely wait for traffic to tick up of course, an empty room with just one person talking is not cool.

Anyway, to finish up, i'll clarify here I guess, unless stated on the photo or in the photo description, my photos are all uneditied (edit for me is post, not on camera), it is a very small number that actually are, which will also be kept seperate when I launch my Portfolio Page.

Here is a clear example of my edited work, the lights are amped and juiced up. You can see editing artifacts in the Moon with it having jagged edges

Also AI was only used in this site where absolutley necessary, I am a vocal critic of AI being used in everything and despised what I did have to use.
